Medicover Romania has opened a new hospital in the north of the country’s capital, Bucharest.
Set over nine floors and 22,000 square metres, the hospital has 200 beds, seven operating rooms, and a da Vinci surgical system for robot-assisted surgery. Medicover invested €31.5 million in construction of the facility, according to southeastern Europe news platform SeeNews.
The hospital is Medicover’s fifth in Romania, one of the company’s biggest markets. It also operates 41 clinics, 25 on-site offices, and over 250 partner medical units in the country.
Further afield, new hospitals have recently opened in Saudi Arabia and Togo.
