GenesisCare UK signs four-year deal with Bupa
The healthcare specialist has extended its provision of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care to Bupa’s UK health insurance customers
GenesisCare and Bupa have renewed their partnership, which will now run until August 2027. Through the partnership, both organisations will work to expand the provision of both radiotherapy and systemic therapy services to Bupa’s UK health insurance customers.
GenesisCare’s CEO for UK and Europe, Justin Hely, commented: “We’re proud of our partnership with Bupa and look forward to further building on our key strategic priorities over the next four years. This includes our commitment to working together on expanding much-needed patient access to our specialist cancer care network.”
Bupa first launched its network of specialist centres for breast cancer in 2019. The network recently expanded to include centres for bowel and prostate cancer.
CEO for Bupa UK Insurance Alex Perry added: “Cancer cases are on the rise in the UK – it’s estimated that by 2030, around four million people will be living with the disease. It’s vital that we continue innovating with our hospital partners to deliver life-changing improvements in cancer care through the further development of our specialist centres network.”
Bupa UK recently added Practice Plus Group to its network to increase customer choice and offer a new option for fast treatment.
