AdvanceCare, a Portuguese health insurance third-party administrator, is leveraging Sprout.ai’s artificial intelligence (AI) driven technology to accelerate claims processing.

Sprout.ai’s platform combines AI with advanced optical character recognition (OCR) technology to quickly analyse data from claims invoices. By reducing the need for manual data entry, it supports faster and more accurate claims decisions. According to the company, some claims can be processed in as little as 60 seconds using this technology.

Over the last year,AdvanceCare has processed more than a million claims using Sprout.ai’s platform, resulting in a 10% increase in overall automation levels. This technology is enhancing  AdvanceCare’s operations across multiple sectors, including hospital, dental, and pharmacy claims.
