Medanta Group outlines hospital network expansion plans
The healthcare provider is planning a major expansion of its facilities in the coming years, with five new hospitals planned in four Indian cities
Indian healthcare provider Medanta Group has announced plans to add 2,700 beds at greenfield sites across its hospital network over the next five years.
The beds will be spread across a number of new hospitals planned for construction – including two in Delhi, and one each in Mumbai, Guwahati, and Varanasi.
The planned new hospitals represent a major expansion for Medanta, on top of the six facilities it currently operates in the cities of Gurugram, Ranchi, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, and Noida.
The aim of the strategy is to meet the growing demand for high-quality medical care across India.
Bupa recently unveiled a new outpatient and diagnostics centre in London’s Canary Wharf district.
