Partnership to deliver healthcare using AI and robotics
Developer and operator of cloud robotic solutions CloudMinds Technology and physician-led and-owned multispecialty partnership Vituity have announced that they will be collaborating to deliver ‘quick, easy and affordable’ healthcare using AI and robotics.
The goal of the new solution is to promote patient recovery following a hospital stay and to reduce readmissions. It uses intelligent and socially assistive support that can converse with and attend to patients discharged from the hospital. “AI is being applied in new ways across the customer engagement cycle in many industries, including healthcare,” said Bill Huang, CEO of CloudMinds Technology. “The technologies we are partnering on provide a preview of the future of post-hospital release healthcare. We are excited to collaborate with Vituity, a healthcare leader with a longstanding track record of innovation, on an AI service that can enhance the quality of care of patients.”
Vituity’s CEO, Dr Imamu Tomlinson, said: “The healthcare industry needs new and innovative ways of lowering costs and providing more effective healthcare. Cloud robotics holds great promise for the future of patient care, and cost savings for this industry. We’re proud to leverage the outstanding capabilities of CloudMinds Technology as part of our dedication to leading the future of healthcare.”
