GeoBlue rebrands as Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions
Blue Cross Blue Shield’s international arm has unveiled a new name and brand identity as part of a phased global repositioning
GeoBlue has announced it will operate under a new name, Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions (BCBS Global Solutions). The rebrand also includes a refreshed visual identity and a consolidated website.
According to the company, the change reflects its role in supporting organisations, individuals, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies through international health insurance solutions for people working, studying, travelling, or living abroad.
“This is more than a name change,” said Lynn Pina, Chief Marketing Officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions. “It represents the next chapter in our journey – a strategic transformation that aligns with our ambition to serve our customers with even greater innovation and exceptional personalised service, helping them navigate and ease the complexities of accessing healthcare around the world.”
Key elements of the rebrand include a new logo and visual identity, an enhanced digital presence, and a focus on technology, customer experience, and international operations.
“We’ve made considerable investments in our technology infrastructure and customer platforms this past year,” said Diego Fernández, President and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions. “We continue to lean into our ‘customer first, always’ value, making over 150 improvements in our digital platforms this year alone based on customer feedback. This rebrand marks a new chapter but our commitment to our customers remains unchanged – delivering innovative and responsive global healthcare solutions backed by the most trusted name in US healthcare.”
The rollout of the new identity will take place in phases, beginning with digital updates. The GeoBlue brand will be fully retired in 2027.
