Allianz Partners event to focus on mind, body and tech
This year’s Partners in Health event from Allianz Partners will take place on 12 October 2022. It’s virtual, free to attend, and open to the public for the first time, along with Allianz Partners’ customers and brokers
With three sessions throughout the day, the line-up includes a host of well-known health and wellness industry leaders, such as Psychotherapist Dr Courtney Tracy; renowned Pastry Chef Ravneet Gill; Medical Futurist Dr Bertalan Mesko; and four-time sailboat world champion Marit Bouwmeester.

The past number of years have been extremely challenging from a health perspective, as we navigated the pandemic. Now, more than ever, people are looking to take a more proactive role in terms of managing health and wellbeing – both physically and mentally. This is the first year we’ve opened this event up to the public and we believe the line-up will prove both stimulating and engaging for those looking to make a change. We look forward to welcoming you all remotely to this year’s Partners in Health.”
Session one: mind
A focus on the importance of mental fitness and benefits of being proactive with seeking support, for both our physical and mental health. It will kick-off with industry experts discussing the effects of social media and doom scrolling on our minds, followed by an introduction to Tai Chi with Sensei Sandeep Desai. The audience will then learn how to focus in an ‘always on’ environment, followed by a discussion on finding time for mindfulness.
Session two: body
This session will focus on the body, starting with a look at the importance of stretching and movement to reduce stress and provide an energy boost, from special guest, online Personal Trainer, Adam Richardson. This will be followed by a short home workout, led by four-time sailboat World Champion, Marit Bouwmeester.
Session three: technology
The final session focuses on technology and the future of digital health. Digital and Marketing Director for Middle East and Africa (MEA) at Allianz Partners, Andrej Mekionis, will kick off the session with a keynote discussing the benefits of optimising patient journeys through digital health. Biohacker Patrick Kramer will share tips on how we can better ourselves through innovative technologies. Dr Bertalan Mesko will discuss how the metaverse can address specific issues such as mental health, access to health without geographical limitations, virtual wellness, fitness and connecting with people.
