The firm’s Smart Health solution gives customers, employees and their immediate families 24/7 unlimited access to a team of health and wellbeing experts wherever they are in the world. The firm’s new prescription offering gives customers based in the UK same-day delivery prescription services when ordered before 3 p.m. in addition to on-demand remote medical care services.

Prescription deliveries are fulfilled by UK-based online pharmacy Signature Pharmacy, which is partnered with Teladoc Health. Customers can also choose to collect their prescription from their chosen local pharmacy.

AIG reports that Smart Health usage for virtual GP appointments increased by 250 per cent in March 2020 by AIG Life customers.
