AXA partners with global hospitality firm to offer worldwide medical assistance in hotels

Effective from July 2020, the insurance giant’s partnership with Accor will provide medical assistance to guests across 5,000 Accor hotels in 110 destinations worldwide
Guests at Accor hotels will benefit from free access to medical teleconsultations through AXA; they will also have access to AXA’s extensive medical networks with tens of thousands of vetted medical professionals; and will benefit from a range of relevant language referrals via AXA’s network.
This latest development is a key move in AXA’s Ambition 2020 plan, which will see it strengthen its payer to partner strategy, promoting its growth through the provision of innovating health services for its customers.
“AXA’s ambition is to move from a payer to a partner with its customers, notably by providing them with innovative solutions in health,” said Thomas Buberl, CEO of AXA. “This is why AXA has become, over the last year, a world leader in telemedicine solutions. Partnering with Accor, a worldwide leader in hospitality, is a unique opportunity to enlarge people’s access to our healthcare expertise and solutions. As we are facing an unprecedented health crisis with Covid-19, this ambition has never been more relevant.”
