As explained by the company, this insurance is created "to guarantee safety and tranquility in this year's vacation trips, in which most of them will be within the country due to the international medical emergency situation."

It will also offer coverage for day trips to Portugal, France and Andorra. Those insured with this product will have medical and healthcare cover, including Covid-19 disease cover, and convalescence in a hotel if necessary, as well as a professional driver or early return.

In addition, if the trip has to be cancelled, the policy offers coverage for cancellation expenses for up to 20 different causes and includes reimbursement of holidays. It also includes the costs of an early return due to hospitalisation or death of a relative. As a novelty, ARAG Especial Estancias includes coverage for pets.

The company highlights that all coverage and guarantees will be provided ‘without restrictions for coronavirus’.
