World Health Expo (WHX) in Dubai, formerly Arab Health, has announced a strategic partnership with Expo City Dubai ahead of its 2026 edition, as the event moves to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) for the first time. The collaboration aims to broaden the event’s platform for healthcare leaders and reinforce Dubai’s position as a global healthcare hub.

Scheduled for 9–12 February 2026, the move from Dubai World Trade Centre to DEC adds 11,343m² of space, bringing the total footprint to 74,402m². The expanded venue will enable a larger showcase of health technology, cross-sector collaboration, and educational content.

The partnership with Expo City Dubai will create additional networking, hospitality, and informal engagement spaces. Sholto Douglas-Home, Chief Sales, Marketing and Communications Officer at Expo City Dubai, said: “Through this partnership, we are creating new platforms for the global healthcare community to connect, showcase and collaborate… Expo City Dubai provides an environment designed to facilitate meaningful exchange.”

WHX in Dubai expects more than 235,000 professional visits and 4,300 exhibitors. The 2026 edition will feature six CME-accredited conferences, four certified bootcamps, and three dedicated stages – Future X, Frontiers, and Visionary – aimed at inspiring insights and transformative collaboration.

The partnership also underlines accessibility and sustainability, with Expo City Dubai offering wheelchair access, Braille signage, mobility services, and ISO 20121:2024-certified venues. In line with WHX’s sustainability goals, the event will prioritise ethical sourcing, waste reduction, and carbon-conscious practices.

Last year, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet extended its compulsory employer-funded health insurance beyond Abu Dhabi and Dubai to cover the entire UAE.
