TuGo announces the passing of Patrick Robinson

The former CEO worked at the Canadian travel insurer for 30 years
In a statement published on its website and social media, Canadian travel insurance provider TuGo announced the death of Patrick Robinson, its former CEO.
It read: “It is with deep sadness that TuGo announces the passing of Patrick Robinson, former CEO, on November 28, 2023.
“Patrick is survived by his wife, Gabriela, daughter, Daisy, mother, Georgina, brother, Jay, sister, Kathy, and other members of the Robinson/Starko family.
“Patrick, who many fondly knew as Pat, will be missed by his extended TuGo family, which he leaves with many lasting memories.
“In his nearly 30 years at TuGo, Patrick guided the company’s strategic direction and was integral in TuGo’s 2015 rebrand from Travel Underwriters. Together with his sister, Kathy Starko, and other Executive members, Patrick led the company to many prosperous years. He was also a well-known Travel Health Insurance Association (THIA) member.
“Patrick courageously battled cancer for a number of years, before his passing, at the age of 62.”
