Embedded insurer has linked up with Australian leisure travel tech start-up to offer coverage as part of the Awai Travel booking process
battleface, a company offering embedded insurance for travellers, has formed a strategic partnership with Australian company Awai Travel, a travel tech startup specialising in leisure travel.
Awai Travel uses their technology to track the best flight and hotel deals for their customers, making the booking process simple. Millions of options are tracked every day by their technology to find the holiday the customer is looking for at an affordable price.
This partnership with battleface then additionally integrates travel insurance into this procedure. Pre-trip Cancellation Insurance is now automatically included with every purchase through Awai Travel.
battleface said that this is the first of its kind in the industry. Anthony Spiteri, CTO at battleface, said, “Launching a new partnership in a new geo (Australia) is a big part of our focus to grow battleface through strategic partnerships.”
