Trawick International announces new expatriate division
US-based travel insurer Trawick International has launched its newest division – Tuman Global Solutions, entering the next phase of its strategic growth strategy
Led by Dan Tuman, Tuman Global Solutions is an international insurance brokerage focused on providing ‘innovative solutions for organisations and individuals operating outside their home country’, says the company.
Prior to launching this latest entity, Tuman spent nearly 20 years at Clements Worldwide, where he held numerous executive positions with responsibility for growing the business. In his most recent role as President, he directed the organisation's sales and marketing initiatives, including managing their overseas offices in London, Dubai, and Brussels.
"Partnering with Daryl and the Trawick International team is a rare business opportunity," said Tuman. "Being backed by [them], I believe this new venture will provide enhanced and customised insurance solutions to international organisations operating across the globe and, in particular, those organisations operating in geopolitical hotspots."
The new division will offer customised products ‘not readily available elsewhere in the market’, says Tuman Global Solutions. It will provide a full range of traditional commercial insurance products for global organisations, including Foreign Group Health, Group Disability, Property, Professional Liability, Political Violence (including War & Terrorism), and Kidnap & Ransom. It will also provide essential products for expatriates, ranging from personal accident insurance to critical illness cover.

Earlier this year, US-based aggregator site InsureMyTrip added Trawick’s Safe Travels Voyageur trip cancellation plan to its website. The plan covers Covid-19 medical expenses.
