New international-standard hospital for northern India
Apollo Hospitals has partnered with the Jujhar Group to establish a new 625-plus bed hospital in Mohali, in northern India
The agreement was signed by Arshdeep Singh Mundi, Executive Director of Jujhar Group; Dr Prathap C Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals; and Dr Suneeta Reddy, Apollo Hospitals’ Managing Director.
The companies stated that the hospital, situated in the Indian state of Punjab, will deliver a “world-class” level of medical services in a range of specialisms, including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology, and gastroenterology.
It will be situated in close proximity to Chandigarh International Airport, with the aim of offering advanced treatments and holistic care to international patients.
The two companies also said the collaboration would combine Jujhar Group’s “robust regional presence and infrastructure capabilities” in Punjab with Apollo Hospitals’ “extensive expertise across the healthcare ecosystem, including hospitals, pharmacies, primary care, and diagnostic clinics”.
Apollo Hospitals unveiled its new multidisciplinary centre for foot and ankle care in Hyderabad last month.
