New foot and ankle centre for Hyderabad
The facility, established by Apollo Hospitals, includes a centre of excellence for diabetic foot management
Apollo Hospitals, based in the Indian city of Hyderabad, has unveiled its new multidisciplinary centre for foot and ankle care.
The centre is designed to provide “world-class orthopaedic care”, and includes a centre of excellence for diabetic foot management.
Services will range from treatment for minor fractures up to complex reconstructive surgery.
Other disciplines offered by the centre’s medical team include podiatric, vascular, and orthotic medicine, and physiotherapy.
“The launch of this centre aligns with our vision to provide world-class, patient-centric healthcare,” said V Tejesvi Rao, the CEO of Apollo Hospitals, Telangana Region. “We believe this initiative will not only transform lives but also position Hyderabad as a hub for advanced foot and ankle care in India and beyond.”
Güven Hospital, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, recently received Global Healthcare Accreditation for medical travel services.
