Industry veteran Michael Stephens appointed as Chief Actuary by Trawick International

With almost 30 years of experience across wide-ranging lines of international insurance business, Michael Stephens is a well-established insurance leader. Stephens was previously Chief Actuary at Best Doctors Insurance, where he was responsible for the full spectrum of actuarial work, also managing the actuarial cost centre for the company. In addition, he held the role of Chief Actuary at Bupa Global Latin America, and served in multiple roles during 13 years at Assurant.

Stephens now joins Trawick International’s leadership team at a crucial time of growth for the company. Florida-based Stephens is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Late last year, Trawick announced the launch of three new travel insurance policies, created in partnership with Starr Insurance.
