AP Companies and PM Medicare in Thailand have joined together to provide medical assistance services for Asia and Southeast Asia’s maritime and health insurance industries.

AP Companies will be able to provide assistance services to its Asia and Southeast Asia clients with its own on-ground Asia team with cultural knowledge, wide local networks and effective cost containment skills.

PM Medicare was founded by experienced professionals with specialised medical assistance skills and has multiple branches in Asia. The knowledge and experience of PM Medicare will assist in the recruitment and retention of quality employees in Asia, the expansion of networks of local providers, and assistance of global clients in local languages.

In the September issue of ITIJ, Dr Ilya Rapoport, Medical Director at AP Companies Global Solutions, spoke about how medical providers can deter and detect fraud.
