For its commitment to continuous quality improvement, Siloam Hospitals, through Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village (Tangerang) is the first hospital in Indonesia to receive international certification by JCI in 2007. The Joint Commission International (JCI) has now accredited Kebon Jeruk (Jakarta) and Denpasar (Bali) as well, while the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) has accredited BIMC Nusa Dua in Bali. As a result, we have maintained our position as one of the leading healthcare providers in Indonesia, with three international accreditations under our belt. We demonstrate our ongoing dedication to provide exceptional healthcare services to our patients.
We believe that providing comprehensive and specialised care to patients is essential to improve our health outcomes. This drives us to establish several Centers of Excellence (CoE) throughout Indonesia including Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology, Urology-Nephrology and Maternity. Each CoE is supported by its own team of specialists and sub-specialists and dedicated facilities to provide tailored treatment for specific health conditions. Our CoE approach ensures that patients receive the highest level of interdisciplinary care, leading to better health outcomes and quality of life. As our CoE develops, we have treated a wide range of complex cases such as neurosurgery and Gamma Knife surgery, open heart surgery and coronary intervention, kidney transplant, and various oncology surgeries including hematology, gynecology, and breast cancer. To date, Siloam has served more than 5,000 open-heart surgeries, more than 2,000 neurosurgeries, and more than 250,000 oncology cases.
In Urology-Nephrology, Siloam is the only private hospital to perform live kidney transplant surgery in Indonesia, with more than 250 successful transplants and a one-year graft survival rate of 98 per cent, in line with the global benchmark. With maternity, Siloam launched its In-Vitro Fertilsation (IVF) clinic, Blastula IVF, in 2021. This clinic has shown exceptional performance and has done more than 570 IVF cycles with a 53 per cent pregnancy rate and has brought joy to more than 140 parents.
At Siloam, we believe that healthcare is more than just treating illnesses, but also delivering a delightful experience and creating an environment where our patients feel cared for and supported. Therefore, our goal is not only to provide firstclass medical care, but also to foster a culture of empathy and compassion for all. With every step we take, we strive to embody our core values of stewardship, innovation, compassion, integrity and respect, and to bring health and joy so that they can get back to what is important in life.
