Introducing the HM Hospitales International Patient network
Leadership, innovation, and trust in the service of international patients is what makes these centres thrive
In 2025, HM Hospitales has consolidated its position as one of the most relevant private hospital groups in Spain and Europe. With a healthcare model based on clinical excellence, biomedical research, technological innovation, and education, the Group continues to strengthen its commitment to patients and its global vocation.
Every advancement, every hospital, and every treatment reflects a shared conviction: the best medicine is the one that combines scientific rigour, empathy, and a forward looking vision.
A growing network with the patient at the centre
HM Hospitales currently has a robust healthcare infrastructure composed of 23 hospitals, 23 polyclinics, and more than 2,000 beds, strategically distributed across Madrid, León, Salamanca, Catalonia, Galicia, and Andalusia. This nationwide presence enables the Group to provide comprehensive healthcare coverage across Spain’s main regions and ensures that every patient receives the same standard of care, regardless of location.
This network is supported by a team of 7,441 professionals committed to a shared philosophy: clinical excellence, safety in every procedure, and a human approach that places the patient at the centre of all medical decisions.
Throughout 2024, HM Hospitales International Patient has strengthened its position as one of the leading centres for highly complex procedures, both nationally and internationally.
This leadership is also reflected in the recognition received in the MERCO ranking, which places the Group among the 75 companies with the best reputation in Spain – a clear indicator of the trust placed in it by patients, professionals, and institutional partners.

Comprehensive centres of excellence that make a difference
Specialisation is one of the pillars of the HM Hospitales model. The Group has three comprehensive monographic centres in oncology, cardiology, and neurosciences, which combine cutting-edge technology, toptier research, and a multidisciplinary approach:
• HM CIOCC – Clara Campal Comprehensive Cancer Center: one of the most advanced private oncology centres in Europe, integrating early and molecular diagnosis, personalised therapies, clinical trials, and collaboration with international institutions to develop new treatments
• HM CINAC – Comprehensive Neurosciences Center: a pioneering and highly advanced centre in Europe in the field of neurosciences, with a cutting-edge vision of comprehensive care and a multidisciplinary clinical and experimental approach aimed at identifying disease origins, optimising diagnosis, and advancing treatment for patients with neurodegenerative, neurofunctional, and psychiatric conditions
• HM CIEC – Comprehensive Cardiovascular Diseases Center: it offers advanced programmes in structural cardiology, complex cardiac surgery, arrhythmia treatment, and minimally invasive techniques. Its leadership is built on a team of over 100 cardiology professionals who, in the centre’s more than 10-year history, have conducted over two million consultations – making it the benchmark model for private cardiology in Spain.
These centres embody the Group’s philosophy: precise, personalised, and human medicine, where each specialty works in a coordinated manner to provide solutions tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
Additionally, HM Hospitales has three specialised centres in Assisted Reproduction, Dentistry, and Ophthalmology: HM Eye Center, HM Fertility Center, and HM Dental Center.
Technology that transforms clinical practice
Technological innovation is also a hallmark of HM Hospitales and one of the pillars on which its care model is built. The Group has incorporated the most advanced robotic platforms into its hospitals, enabling safer, less invasive surgeries with significantly faster recovery times.
These technologies not only improve surgical precision but also personalise each intervention based on the patient’s anatomical and clinical needs.
• Da Vinci Robot: available at Hospital Universitario HM Sanchinarro (Madrid), HM Nou Delfos (Barcelona), and HM Modelo (A Coruña). This platform allows surgeons to perform procedures with unprecedented levels of precision, safety, and control in oncological, urological, digestive, and gynaecological surgery
• Hugo RAS System: installed at Hospital Universitario HM Sanchinarro, this modular and multi-quadrant system is designed to perform a wide range of surgical procedures, combining articulated instruments with highdefinition 3D visualisation
• Mako Robot: available at Hospital Universitario HM Puerta del Sur (Móstoles) and Hospital HM Rosaleda (Santiago de Compostela). This cutting-edge technology enables detailed and personalised planning of knee replacement surgeries, adapting the procedure to the patient’s specific anatomy, resulting in an optimal implant fit and significantly improved joint alignment and functionality
• Rosa Knee Robot: also available at Hospital Universitario HM Sanchinarro, this platform is focused on total knee prosthesis implantation. Its preoperative kinematic analysis system allows surgeons to design the optimal approach, ensuring maximum precision and superior functional outcomes
• Aquabeam: also available in the same centre, this is the first robotic system specifically designed for the surgical treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, offering a minimally invasive, precise, and effective alternative
• Focal One: installed at Hospital Universitario HM Montepríncipe, this robotic system is designed for focal prostate cancer treatment, enabling highly targeted therapies that minimise damage to surrounding tissues and accelerate recovery.
