Zanzibar partners with the Rainbow Children’s Hospital
The Indian healthcare provider will provide paediatric medical services to the East African nation
Rainbow Children’s Hospital, a chain of paediatric hospitals based in Hyderabad, India, has teamed up with Zanzibar’s Ministry of Health.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company will work with the Zanzibari government to improve paediatric healthcare in the East African island nation.
In particular, the agreement will “facilitate patient referrals for cases that require specialised medical attention not presently available in Zanzibar”.
Rainbow will also provide outpatient services and surgical camps in Zanzibar through a one-year contract, with the aim to “address critical healthcare needs and provide specialised care, particularly in paediatric cases”.
“We are honoured to be the sole paediatric hospital from India to join hands with the Ministry of Health in Zanzibar,” said Toshan Singh, General Manager for International Marketing at Rainbow Children's Hospital. “This partnership reaffirms our commitment to extending quality healthcare beyond borders.”
