Temos takes over QHA Trent hospital accreditation operations
Due to economic issues brought about by recent events, British hospital accreditation firm QHA Trent has been forced to conclude operations, and Temos has been selected to take over
Having served its clients for over a decade now, QHA Trent has been forced to conclude its operations due to ongoing economic struggles. Temos, another international accreditation provider, has been selected to support existing QHA Trent clients in the transition period, and will continue to serve current and new QHA Trent clients into the future.
QHA Trent provides ISQua/IEEA accredited programmes for hospitals, helping to establish them as facilities that are safe and fit for purpose, which is not only of great interest to patients themselves, but also to health insurance companies, medical evacuation companies, governments and other third-party payers involved in commissioning quality healthcare services.
During the next several weeks, Temos representatives will be contacting QHA clients to plan the next steps and ensure the continuity of ISQua/IEEA approved accreditation.
Covid-19 puts an end to business
“The Temos accreditation programmes are well-aligned to QHA’s programmes regarding quality, content and price, and offer further innovations such as online tools and collaborative style,” said QHA Trent Chief Operating Office Elizabeth Brownhill. “While we at QHA are deeply disappointed that Covid-19 has brought us to the end of our business operations, we are confident that our clients will be served well by Temos.”
QHA clients to gain access to Temos resources
The standards at both Temos and QHA Trent are very similar; both companies are European-based organisations and are also culturally close, notes Temos CEO, Dr Claudia Mika, who says that Temos and QHA Trent also have an history of co-operation. “QHA clients will also have access to our other benefits, including the Temos Alliance and Temos Academy,” Mika said. “The entire Temos team supports the leadership of QHA-Trent through this challenging time. We are committed to working together to help QHA clients and the patients they serve.”
