ROCK Insurance announces six new appointments
The new hires will support ROCK’s plans to grow its product offering within the travel insurance industry
The ROCK Insurance Group, UK, has announced that it appointed six new key employees, across management, product development and partnerships.
In response to the new hires, Antony Martin, the travel insurance firm’s Managing Director, said: "I am thrilled to welcome six new members to the ROCK team this year, showing our commitment to expanding our fantastic team and growing our product offering within the travel insurance industry.
“Since starting the company nearly 20 years ago, we’ve enjoyed great success and I’m delighted that we can continue on this journey with our new starters, helping to support the travel industry with a smart range of insurance products, advanced technology and strong partnerships, as the sector continues its journey to recovery.”
Jokin Doria, Head of Change
Jokin Doria has been appointed as ROCK’s new Head of Change, transferring to the company after a decade of employment with Mapfre Asistencia. Doria will offer expertise in ‘change management and transformation’, as ROCK expands its operations in the UK and Asia-Pacific markets.
Danny Everett, Head of Product
Danny Everett joins ROCK Insurance Group from the AXA Group, where he worked for over 10 years within its travel insurance team. As part of the new role, Everett will be responsible for overseeing ROCK’s product range, with a focus on improvements to offerings, the creation and maintenance of policy documentation, and product governance.
Alistair Ball, Senior Partnerships Manager
Alistair Ball has also been appointed as Senior Partnership Manager. Ball was previously employed as Commercial Proposition Manager for Insurance at Asda and brings with him over 25 years of experience in the insurance sector. In his new role, Ball will work across internal and external teams to ensure a high standard of customer service.
Paulina Gutierrez, Tony Dunne and Matt Prescott, Partnership Managers
Paulina Gutierrez, Tony Dunne and Matt Prescott have also been appointed to join the partnership team, with a focus on supporting partner growth and daily client management.
