Egypt signs agreements with medical assistance providers
The Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) has signed cooperation agreements with two assistance firms to promote medical tourism in the country
The government agency has partnered with CONNEX Assistance and Egypt Assistance to promote EHA-affiliated hospitals to international patients.
The agreement aims to promote Egypt as a destination for medical tourism to travellers from Europe, North Africa, and the Gulf region.
Mohamed Essam, Managing Director of Egypt Assistance, spoke to ITIJ about his company and the rapid growth of the country’s medical tourism sector in the April 2024 Assistance & Repatriation Review.
