BTA welcomes Air Transat, providing more flexibility for business travellers
With a view to improving flexibility for business travellers, the British Travel Association (BTA) is collaborating with Canadian airline Air Transat.
The partnership is expected to further solidify the relationship between Air Transat and travel management companies as it will offer corporate travellers a better variety of quality and affordable services.
For example, Air Transat has more than 60 international destinations in more than 25 countries in the Americas and Europe. But it’s not just variety that it boasts ─ it offers TMCs and travel buyers competitive fares on its routes. In addition, it will double its service from Gatwick to Toronto to twice daily from summer 2020.
Clive Wratten, CEO of BTA, commented on the partnership: “We are excited about the opportunities that our partnership with Air Transat will deliver and we are committed to strengthening the relationship between our members and partners to add value to the services they provide, as well as to encourage the development of the industry.”
Adrian Keating, Commercial Director UK and Ireland, Air Transat, said that Air Transat is delighted to be joining the BTA. “As an airline offering a huge choice of excellent value services from key hubs in the UK to destinations across Canada, we are a natural choice for business travellers and are rapidly growing our partnerships with travel management companies,” he said. “Membership of the Association – as the renowned industry voice on business travel ─ is an integral part of that strategy.”
