AXA Global announces partnership with HSBC Broker-Pinnacle China
AXA Global Healthcare China has teamed up with HSBC Broker-Pinnacle to expand the international private medical insurance market in China and keep pace with rising market demands
AXA Global Healthcare China has collaborated with HSBC Broker-Pinnacle China, a wholly owned subsidiary of the HSBC Group, to enhance the international private medical insurance (IPMI) landscape in China and address increasing market demand, particularly among high-net-worth customers.
As part of the collaboration, HSBC Broker-Pinnacle China has introduced AXA’s flagship product, SmartCare Exclusive, to its customers, marking the first time the broker has offered a third-party IPMI solution. The product became available on 24 April.
SmartCare Exclusive offers benefits such as a global medical network, flexible plans, and high-quality service, and has seen growing demand in the local market, especially among high-net-worth individuals. This partnership is expected to expand access to international-standard healthcare and strengthen AXA’s presence in China’s growing IPMI market.
Fred Ding, Managing Director of AXA Global Healthcare China, commented on the partnership: “This alliance represents a powerful convergence of global insurance and financial expertise.
“Together with HSBC Broker-Pinnacle, we’re setting a new benchmark for the delivery of premium health insurance in China. By aligning our strengths, we are not only accelerating our footprint in the region but also helping reshape how international healthcare coverage is accessed and experienced by discerning clients.”
