Globalmed was founded back in 2012 in Germany, originally as a commercial medical escort company. But with 12 years of air ambulance experience at that time, a cooperation with an aviation company to perform air ambulance misisons commenced very soon.
With the start of Globalmed B.V. (Netherlands) in 2017 and the direct clinical connection to Maastricht University, all pillars ( air medical services, air medical academy, and travel medicine clinic) were brought under the mother company to the Netherlands. In 2022 we started growing together with Auxilia AeroMedical Assistance, sharing the same offices and operations personnel.
