Updated yellow fever guidance
The National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC) has released an updated guide for health professionals providing yellow fever vaccination
Individuals who receive a yellow fever vaccination must now be issued with an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), the requirements of which have been set out by the World Health Organization (WHO). Those ICVPs that do not meet the standards set out by WHO will cause travellers difficulties when entering a country with a yellow fever vaccination request and presenting their documentation.
As such, NaTHNaC’s updated free resource,Getting to grips with the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis for yellow fever: a practical guide, will help health professionals adhere to the new requirements when administering yellow fever vaccinations.
