Papua New Guinea’s mandatory eHDF for international travellers
The electronic Health Declaration Form (eHDF) must be completed within 24 hours prior to the departure of an international traveller planning to visit the country
The Government of Papua New Guinea has instated an online health declaration system for international travellers wishing to visit the country – an initiative that will help protect the health and safety of the public and tourists.
International travellers are asked to fill out on eHDF 24 hours prior to departure, which has been developed by the National Control Centre Surveillance and Epidemiology Unit and implemented successfully by the Points of Entry and Quarantine Cluster, with support from the National Department of Health and the World Health Organization.
“As we gradually re-open the country to returning Papua New Guineans and business travellers, we remain vigilant and ensure the safety and health of our people and our visitors,” said National Response Pandemic Controller David Manning. “There is no compromise in our health monitoring at the points of entry, and I enjoin travellers to comply with this requirement.”
