Now Health International partners with Assist America

partnership abstract

The new partnership between the two companies will give globally mobile members access to a wide range of travel assistance services

Members of the international private medical insurance company Now Health International Group will be able to access a wide range of travel assistance services if they are with one of the company’s WorldCare plans. These services include support before and during travel, as well as in an emergency, and global concierge and second medical opinion services.

In addition, the new partnership with Assist America will enable Now Health International WorldCare members to access handy pre-trip travel information, including advice on country visa requirements, vaccination recommendations and other important security information – all of which make travel that little bit less stressful.

All of the new travel assistance benefits can be accessed directly via the Now Health International Customer Service team, and Assist America will also provide Now Health International with back-end support for the medical evacuation and repatriation benefits included in its plans to drive operational efficiencies and deliver cost savings.

Zahir Sharif, Managing Director at Now Health International, said: “This partnership forms part of our ongoing work to deliver added value to our members and demonstrate our commitment to their overall health and wellbeing. We know that many of our members are frequent flyers and we wanted to provide them with reassurance that we are there to support them both at home and abroad. We are continuing to develop our added value services to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace and ensure we can better cater to the needs of our internationally-minded customer base.”
