APRIL International enhances it health insurance offering across Asia
The company has teamed up with Ephesoft to automate it claims and hospital invoices processing, streamlining document processing, so customers have quick access to care
Ephesoft, an intelligent document processing automation and data enrichment solutions provider will help APRIL expedite and automate its insurance claims and hospital invoices, which the company explains were ‘kept in disparate data sources in different countries and in multiple languages’.
Now, that’s to the partnership, APRIL can centralise and standardise its data – the Ephesoft Transact platform will be used to capture, classify, extract, validate and export data through application programming interfaces (APIs) integrating into several internal analytics solutions, without any change to the personal data protection processes. This will ensure that APRIL is able to offer the best policies and coverage available to its customers anywhere in Asia at the best price, the company explains.
“We are always looking for better, more efficient ways to help our customers thrive. Using leading technologies like Ephesoft will allow us to move faster while also ensuring accuracy with accessible, clean data for us to use downstream,” said Romain Di Meglio, CEO at APRIL Asia Pacific. “We have a single goal of servicing our customers as best as possible.”
Indeed, the new offering will make it easier for customers to access services and products quickly and safely, explains Ike Kavas, Founder and CEO at Ephesoft.
April International plans its expansion
April is due to launch Ephesoft from its Hong Kong headquarters, with plans to expand the platform into its other offices in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, France and the UK.
Very important is the fact that the new platform is safe and secure when it comes to storing customers’ personal health data – especially as ransomware attacks on the healthcare sector have surged over the last year, with personal health data increasingly among the most valuable commodities on the dark web.
