Alcidion announces strategic partnership with Novari Health
The two companies are joining forces to advance patient flow management
Alcidion Group, a provider of FHIR-native patient flow solutions for healthcare, has strategically partnered with Novari Health, a specialist in waiting list and referral management technologies, to offer a comprehensive approach to patient journey management.
According to Alcidion’s recent announcement, the alliance will enhance the opportunity for customers to liberate data, drive operational efficiencies, and reduce waiting times across the care continuum.
The Novari Access to Care Platform includes a series of integrated software modules providing surgical waiting list management, referral management, central intake, and care coordination. Alcidion’s cloud-based technologies are used by health systems, hospitals, regional health authorities, and governments to drive down waiting times and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
In acute care settings, Alcidion’s electronic patient journey boards present real-time information, creating a comprehensive view of patient, ward, site, and health service capacity and demand.
Kate Quirke, Alcidion CEO, commented: “At Alcidion, our commitment has always been to enhance hospital operations, and our collaboration with Novari allows us to amplify our impact throughout the entire patient experience.”
The President and CEO of Novari Health, John Sinclair, added: “The combined Alcidion and Novari capabilities address common challenges experienced by healthcare systems in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and beyond. Together, we can help our clients to deliver efficient and timely patient care.”
