EURAMI auditor training 2023
The EURAMI Board and Office are delighted to welcome four new auditors to the EURAMI family:
• Dr Yann Rouaud
• Dr Ludovic Gros
• Dr Julien Marrel
• Dr Francois-Xavier Duchateau
Joined by the EURAMI Board and Chief Auditor, Dr Mike Braida, all four auditors participated in a comprehensive two-day training session held at FAI Air Ambulance in Nürnberg, Germany. Throughout this intensive programme, which spanned two days, they covered a wide range of topics. These included theoretical training, which encompassed everything from understanding the origins and evolution of EURAMI, its core values, and operational procedures, to delving into the nuances of standardisation in aero-medical care. The training also focused on delineating the key responsibilities and roles of auditors. In addition to theoretical knowledge, our newly inducted auditors were rigorously tested through practical mock audits, pushing them to their limits in the course of the training.
We are excited about sending our new auditors on their inaugural audits and want to thank everyone for their commitment and time. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to FAI for their exceptional hospitality.
EURAMI Board meeting 2023
Following the EURAMI auditor training, the EURAMI Board – President Dr Cai Glushak, Vice President Philipp Schneider, Mark Chapman, Lisa Humphries, Dr Simon Forrington, and Franziska Hollenstein – alongside Managing Director Claudia Schmiedhuber, convened for the Annual EURAMI Board meeting in Nürnberg. The meeting featured a comprehensive agenda that tackled the organisation's forthcoming expansion and preparations for the upcoming EURAMI Conference and General Assembly (which will include the election for a vacant Board position as well as the review of the newly created EURAMI CAME 2.0. Standards which will be published at this years’ General Assembly). Three incredibly intense and productive days for EURAMI!
