Clinerion expands patient options in Greece and Cyprus
Medical data informatics company Clinerion, which works to improve efficiency in patient search and identification, has announced that it will be expanding treatment options for patients in Greece and Cyprus through a partnership with Sigmasoft.
Sigmasoft is a Greece and Cyprus-based information technology company that creates eHealth and mHealth solutions, as well as consulting services for healthcare providers. Sigmasoft’s MedExpress software, which is used by more than 3,500 physicians across Greece, is an ePrescribing and electronic medical record-based software that was awarded the accolade of best medical software in Greece in the 2016 Healthcare Business Awards.
The partnership will see Sigmasoft supporting Clinerion in integrating healthcare institutions and physicians in Clinerion’s international Patient Network Explorer platform, which is expected to improve clinical research opportunities for patients in Greece and Cyprus.
“We are very pleased to partner with Clinerion and assist in more effective clinical research in Greece and Cyprus,” said Georgios Stefanidis, CEO and Founder of Sigmasoft. “We are looking forward to integrating more healthcare institutions across Greece and Cyprus in the Patient Network Explorer platform, as well as providing real-world data, based on our existing customer base of physicians nationwide.”
Ian Rentsch, CEO of Clinerion, said: “Sigmasoft is the advanced technology partner we need to improve patient lives in Greece and Cyprus. Patients are our first priority. We are committed to the early detection, prevention and finding cures for all chronic and acute diseases using our homegrown patented digital technology.”
