World Nomads announces new partnership with Gap 360
The strategic partnership aims to empower more young travellers to embark on journeys with confidence
World Nomads has announced a new partnership with Gap 360, which provides youth and gap year travel opportunities to a wide range of travellers.
This strategic partnership aims to empower more travellers between the ages of 18 and 35 to embark on journeys with confidence, allowing them to purchase travel insurance on the Gap 360 website with the soon-to-be-added feature of being able to bundle travel insurance with Gap 360 online travel packages.
Key benefits of the partnership include:
- Exclusive travel insurance plans: Gap 360 travellers will receive access to World Nomads’ customisable travel insurance plans, which offer coverage for high-adventure activities that are often excluded by traditional insurers
- Emergency medical assistance: World Nomads provides 24/7 emergency medical assistance, ensuring that travellers can quickly access medical care, evacuation services, and other crucial support services worldwide
- Product features: World Nomads policies include several features as standard. SmartDelay gives policyholders (and up to four additional passengers named on the policy) access to over 1,500 airport lounges worldwide if their flight is delayed by 90 minutes or more. The recently integrated World Nomads Powered by Air Doctor is a platform designed to connect travellers with trusted healthcare professionals around the world, ensuring they receive quality medical care wherever they may be, in a language of their choosing.
Jane McLellan, Operations and Sales Director of Gap 360, said: “The collaboration between World Nomads and Gap 360 comes at a time when the demand for flexible, immersive, and responsible travel is on the rise. Together, we look forward to inspiring a new generation of global explorers to travel further and more fearlessly, all while staying safe and protected.”
New recent data from global travel insurer World Nomads revealed a marked shift towards more accessible destinations.
