Westfield promotes specialist cover for divers

Specialist insurer Westfield is targeting dive and activity holidays with flexible cover, including scuba diving, family options, and policies for older travellers

Westfield Sub Aqua & Marine Insurance Services has partnered with SunWorld to offer specialist travel insurance for scuba diving holidays, alongside cover for skiing, cruises, golf, and other sporting activities.

The UK-based insurer, which has been providing travel insurance for over 50 years, offers individual and family policies, including annual multi-trip cover up to age 85. There is no upper age limit for single-trip policies, and several pre-existing medical conditions can be covered.

Scuba diving and other sports can be added where required. Westfield says families can also arrange different levels of cover, meaning only the family member who dives needs diving cover.

The company advises travellers to review cancellation, curtailment, baggage, and excess levels to ensure they match their trip. It also says occasional skiers may find a separate single-trip policy more cost-effective than adding annual skiing cover.

SunWorld is arranged by Westfield through David Oliver Associates and underwritten by Inter Partner Assistance SA UK Branch, part of AXA Group.

Travellers are advised to check policy wording, exclusions, and limits before purchase.

True Traveller identified growing demand for long-term family adventure holidays in 2026.
