Tune Protect launches traveller SIM with True 5G
Insurer Tune Protect Thailand has announced a collaboration with Thai telecom firm True 5G to offer the True Tourist SIM to travellers visiting the country
The SIM combines access to True 5G’s mobile network with a range of travel insurance benefits, including coverage for accidents, injuries, trip cancellations, flight delays, loss of belongings, and access to 24-hour emergency assistance services.
“This collaboration is a great example of being present on platforms where the consumers are already on so that we can deliver our services seamlessly to them, and in this case, travel insurance for tourists entering Thailand,” said Rohit Nambiar, CEO of Tune Protect Group.
True Corporation chief marketing officer Tanaphon Manavutiveth added: “By combining both our strengths, travellers will be able to enjoy their trips better with our high-speed network connectivity coupled with Tune Protect’s travel protection for a worry-free travel experience. Our customers’ safety is a top priority, and this is our way of warmly welcoming tourists into Thailand.”
Thailand’s PM Medicare recently partnered with AP Companies to provide medical assistance services for Asia and Southeast Asia’s maritime and health insurance industries.
