Swisscom has also launched its ‘Easy Travel Insurance Year’ product for individuals and families. The payment method for this is new and unusual as Easy Travel Insurance Year is billed monthly. After expiry of the minimum 12-month contract period, the contract can be terminated at any time under observance of a notice period of 60 days to the end of the month.

‘Easy Cyber Insurance’ provides legal protection in cases of copyright infringement, identity theft, credit card misuse, online bullying and fraudulent suppliers when shopping online. It also helps with data recovery and virus removal, up to the replacement of hardware. The product has been tailor-made for Swisscom customers in partnership with AXA-ARAG.

“Customer security is very important to us. The new offering fits almost seamlessly into our existing security portfolio and allows customers to enjoy surfing the net with no concerns. It is an ideal complement to Swisscom’s core products,” said Wierzbitzki. The insurance also scores highly, with additional, customer-friendly conditions such as monthly billing.
