PJ Hayman to implement AI sales assistant
The solution, provided by OpenDialog AI, will initially be rolled out at Free Spirit, PJ Hayman’s travel insurance brand for people with medical conditions and disabilities
Specialist travel insurance provider PJ Hayman has formed a partnership with software developer OpenDialog AI.
The collaboration will see OpenDialog’s artificial intelligence (AI) powered sales agent, Selma, deployed in phases across PJ Hayman’s purchasing channels.
The first phase will see Selma utilised on PJ Hayman’s Free Spirit travel insurance brand, which specialises in coverage for people with medical conditions and disabilities.
It is hoped that the implementation of the new solution will lead to higher online conversion rates, lower call centre demand, and a more efficient digital journey.
For customers, the AI sales assistant is expected to offer instant, 24/7 responses to travel policy queries, personal guidance for customers with medical conditions and special requirements, and a more accessible purchase experience.
Insurtech Igloo has announced a partnership with Indonesian telecommunications provider Telkomsel, to offer embedded insurance to its customers.
