Heather McIntyre COO

Heather McIntyre comes into the role at a time of impressive growth

Allianz Partners USA has announced that Heather McIntyre will join the company as Chief Operations Officer USA.

McIntyre had a 20-year career at GEICO, where she held a variety of management roles, including Vice President of countrywide sales and customer experience. Her expertise also extends to digital transformation, product management and operations.

When she joins Allianz Partners, McIntyre will manage more than 1,400 associates who have customer-facing roles, such as customer service, claims, direct sales and travel assistance.

Jeff Wright, CEO at Allianz Partners USA, said: “Heather joins us at a time of explosive growth for the travel insurance industry and we’re very fortunate to have the benefit of her skill and experience in managing our rapidly growing Operations team.

“The outstanding service that we provide to our valued customers is a sense of pride for our entire organization. We look forward to the innovative leadership that Heather will bring to our critical operations function.”

Allianz Partners also recently announced the appointment of Tomas Kunzmann as new CEO of the Group.
