Liberty General looks to expand its customer base with new travel insurance offering
Liberty General Insurance’s new zero-cancellation travel insurance offering will help improve the revival of the travel industry by boosting consumer confidence in the booking process
Available only to Indian residents booking domestic flights, and valid for anyone between the ages of three months and 70 years old, the new travel insurance offering, ‘Liberty Secure Travel’, allows customer booking flight tickets through e-commerce platform Flipkart to opt for add-on zero-cancellation cover, at a minimal cost.
The Cancel for any Reason option allows Indian customers to cancel their flights up to 24 hours before departure and receive a refund for losses up to 5,000 Indian Rupees (US$68), Liberty General Insurance explained.
Enhanced cover to attract a larger pool of customers
