Jetline Travel enters administration
Jetline Travel has entered administration, having ceased trading as an ATOL holder last month
The UK-based travel agency has confirmed that it appointed joint administrators from insolvency firm Leonard Curtis, and financial assistance specialist Carter Clark, to manage the process.
The company, which launched in 2000, ceased trading as an ATOL holder on 6 March with 800 forward bookings and 20 customers overseas, after Carnival announced the cancellation of some outstanding bookings through Jetline due to breach of contract. Jetline is believed to have failed to pass on customer payments.
Jetline left travel agent association ABTA in November 2020 after it came under investigation for its handling of customer refunds during the pandemic.
