International SOS partners with Factal
Risk management firm International SOS has announced a strategic alliance and investment with risk intelligence firm Factal
The partnership will give International SOS subscribers access to Factal’s alerts service, providing “comprehensive risk data alongside essential resources”.
International SOS users will also be able to receive a wider range of “customised real-time alerts” from Factal as part of the arrangement.
Meanwhile, Factal users will gain access to International SOS’s range of travel safety tools, allowing organisations to view when itineraries intersect with global incidents.
International SOS analysts have also joined the Factal network to collaborate with its editors in real time, strengthening both companies’ ability to assess emerging risks rapidly.
Co-developing new products
Both companies will also continue to work together to create “joint products and services that focus on delivering high-quality risk intelligence solutions to their customers”.
Charlie Tillinghast, CEO of Factal, welcomed the deal: “At a time when fast, accurate information is more important than ever to keep people safe, this partnership and investment connects the medical and travel security excellence of International SOS with Factal’s trusted expertise in technology and journalism. We are excited about the innovative products we are building and the collaborative potential of both companies.”
International SOS appointed a new Head of Global Security Services earlier this year.
