International SOS and Sancroft launch e-learning course to advance sustainable business travel
As sustainability becomes a core pillar of corporate travel strategy, International SOS and Sancroft are equipping organisations with the tools to embed responsible practices into global mobility programmes
With COP30 bringing sustainability in global mobility into sharper focus, organisations face growing pressure to align travel operations with environmental, regulatory and employee expectations. Responding to this, International SOS has partnered with sustainability consultancy Sancroft to launch Sustainable Travel Choices, a new digital learning course promoting ethical and environmentally responsible travel.
Developed by sustainability experts, the course offers practical advice on low-impact transport, eco-friendly accommodation, cultural sensitivity, and responsible consumption – helping employees make informed travel decisions without compromising business efficiency.
Ramsey Zarifeh, Group General Manager, Medical and Security Content, at International SOS, said: “Organisations and educational institutions are now placing greater emphasis on their duty of care commitments, not only towards their workforces, but also the communities and environments in which they operate. Our new course, developed in collaboration with our long-standing partners at Sancroft, provides timely, practical guidance to help employees make informed travel choices that align with corporate sustainability goals.”
Felix Gummer, Director at Sancroft, added: “We are thrilled to launch this new e-learning module on sustainable travel. It is designed to support smarter travel choices and help organisations make informed decisions to drive both business success and sustainability progress.”
The Sustainable Travel Choices course forms part of International SOS’s wider e-learning portfolio, offering flexible, mobile-ready training to help global employees travel responsibly and sustainably.
Earlier this year, International SOS announced the opening of a new assistance centre in Italy, as well as upgrades to its existing one in Dubai.
