Healix International appoints new Director of its global provider network
Declan McDermott will lead work to enhance the 75,000-strong Healix provider network
Global healthcare and risk management business Healix International continues to strengthen its leadership with the appointment of Declan McDermott as the new Director of its global network team.
The company is investing in new systems and capabilities to build deeper partnerships, accelerate delivery, and give clients greater certainty worldwide. McDermott’s appointment forms part of this strategy, with his focus on ensuring dependable access to care for clients wherever they operate.
McDermott brings strong expertise in global network management, said Healix, with more than a decade’s experience in risk, healthcare, and insurance. He will lead work to enhance the Healix provider network, developing closer provider relationships and refining processes to bolster the company’s reputation as a trusted partner.
Healix’s global provider network comprises 75,000 healthcare, security, and logistics partners, forming the backbone of its risk management solutions. The network gives organisations access to medical expertise, security support, and resources to keep businesses prepared, and employees safe, during international travel and assignments.
Commenting on McDermott’s appointment, James Henderson, CEO of Healix International, said: “Our global provider network sits at the heart of the medical, security, and operational support we deliver to clients with people travelling and working worldwide. It’s what turns our expertise into real help on the ground.
“As we continue to strengthen our leadership, Declan’s appointment underlines our commitment to building an even stronger, more reliable network. We want every client to have full confidence that their people can access safe, high-quality care and support wherever they operate.”
