Groupia enters administration
The company, which operates under brands such as Groupia Golf, GoHen, and StagWeb, will honour bookings for trips starting on or before 31 August
UK travel operator Groupia, which specialises in providing group travel packages, has entered administration as of 16 June, and has announced that it will cease taking bookings from new customers.
The company, which traded under the brand names Groupia Golf, GoHen, StagWeb, Groupia School Trips, and Company Away Days, has appointed Nigel Fox and Christopher Marsden of S&W Partners as joint administrators.
The company has also stated that while it will honour bookings for trips that start on or before 31 August, those scheduled to occur from 1 September onwards will no longer go ahead, and will be subject to a refund claim.
Fellow UK travel agency Jetline Travel entered administration in April last year.
