ERGO launches partnership with Lifecard Travel Assistance
The two German companies will collaborate to develop new products and innovations in the travel insurance sector
German travel insurance firm ERGO Reiseversicherung has announced a new strategic partnership with specialist insurer Lifecard Travel Assistance (LTA).
The partnership, which began on 1 December, will see the two firms collaborate on the development of new travel insurance products, as well as the acceleration of new innovations.
LTA will continue to design its travel protection packages, but will now benefit from ERGO’s support in expanding its product architecture.
LTA has confirmed that it plans to launch an expanded travel protection package, as well as trial the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate internal processes and generate added value to customers.
ERGO announced the merger of its Nordic insurance units earlier this year.
