CoverGo unveils AI insurance agents
The artificial intelligence solutions can be used by insurers to process documents, support customers, and provide quotations
Insurtech firm CoverGo has announced the announced the launch of artificial intelligence (AI) agents for the insurance industry.
The company, which specialises in developing solutions for health, life, and property and casualty (P&C) insurance, said that the AI agents specialised in three main fields of operation: document processing, customer support, and quotation.
CoverGo stated that the agents were designed to be embedded “directly into core insurance operations, enabling automated execution across complex underwriting, distribution, servicing, and claims processes”.
The company added that it had already deployed the AI agents into the production of a number of tier-one insurers and brokers.
Three AI agents have been launched
The agents are:
- Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) AI Agent – which automates data extraction from any unstructured document (claims forms, medical reports, applications) and transforms it into structured, decision-ready data across claims, underwriting, and policy servicing. The IDP AI agent also performs a number of checks, including for medical necessity document validation, and business rules enforcement
- Customer Support AI Agent – which “ingests” all of a company’s internal knowledge to provide instant, accurate answers to customers, allowing queries to be resolved in seconds, and helping sales teams to find the right information on the spot
- Quotation AI Agent – automates the generation of quotes, illustrations, and comparison of insurance proposals.
“The insurance industry doesn’t need generic AI solutions – it needs domain-specific AI agents built for insurance operations,” said Tomas Holub, Founder and CEO of CoverGo. “CoverGo’s AI agents are already deployed in production with leading insurers and brokers, empowering them to automate complex workflows across the entire policy life cycle, and operate in the most efficient way.”
Saudi Arabian insurance firm Walaa recently adopted CoverGo’s digital health insurance platform.
