Collinson partners with Holiday Extras to offer parametric coverage
The insurer will offer travel coverage to Holiday Extras customers both as a standalone product and as part of the booking process for other services
Collinson Insurance has partnered with travel-related services provider Holiday Extras, to offer parametric flight delay insurance to travellers.
The agreement will see Collinson offer two products to Holiday Extras customers.
The first product is a standalone parametric benefit that offers instant airport lounge access, airport experiences, or a cash payout if a flight has been delayed.
The second product, offered to people booking airport parking and hotel packages, offers airport lounge access and other experiences in the event of a delay or cancellation.
“Flight delays are still one of the biggest frustrations for travellers,” said Alice Lawson, Associate Director of Insurance at Holiday Extras. “When delays happen, people want quick reassurance and something that actually helps in the moment. Flight Delay Cover gives Holiday Extras a clear, practical benefit we can offer straight away. It’s easy to explain, simple to add, and delivers real value when it matters most.”
Collinson previously partnered with insurance provider Sompo to launch flight delay coverage in three new Asian markets in late 2025.
