Collinson partners with Cathay Life
The partnership gives airport lounge access to Cathay Life customers in the event of a flight disruption or cancellation
Collinson International has announced a partnership with Taiwanese insurer Cathay Life to offer flight disruption airport lounge access to its policyholders.
Under the terms of the partnership, Cathay Life policyholders who purchase overseas travel insurance coverage online with premiums of NT$1,000 (US$31) or more will gain access to Collinson’s SmartDelay benefit for up to two flights on a round trip.
The benefit offers policyholders access to over 1,800 airport lounges and travel experiences worldwide in the event that a flight is cancelled or delayed by over 60 minutes. The benefit also allows up to three companions to accompany the policyholder.
“Our priority is to equip policyholders with comprehensive, modern protection that goes beyond traditional insurance coverage,” said Lin Chao-ting, President of Cathay Life. “Given the current complexities facing global air travel, we recognise that flight disruptions have become a growing source of uncertainty for travellers. Through our collaboration with Collinson International, our customers can access a robust portfolio of airport lounges and travel experiences worldwide. This enables us to deliver comfort, convenience, and reassurance when it matters most.”
Collinson also recently partnered with Holiday Extras to offer the same flight delay benefit to that company’s customers.
